Neil Telfer is a Senior Group Analyst with a background of working in the NHS delivering psychotherapy to individuals and groups in hospital, community and private practice. He contributes to the training and supervision of Group Analysts and Psychotherapists at the Institute of Group Analysis. He has set up and managed experiential groups for post-graduate students of psychological therapies at Queen Mary University of London, which aims to support learning in small groups as well as students’ professional development.
Neil Telfer is a member of the Group Analytic Network (GAN) London which offers psychotherapy, supervision and consultation to organisations. He recently contributed a chapter on the Internet and Group Analysis in the book Group Analytic Therapists at Work, written by GAN members and published by Routledge.
He loves poetry and rowing as recreational pursuits.
